If there are excessive marks on the furniture, make a solution consisting of ¼ cup of white vinegar and ½ cup of water. Dip a soft cloth in this solution and clean the furniture with this solution. Follow it with a wash of leather saddle soap.
Wicker and case furniture
In case of wicker and case furniture, it is important to clean or dust it regularly. Vacuum it on a constant basis to get rid of wicker and grime settled in. When exposed to direct sunlight, wicker furniture tends to dry out. Actually, the fibre present in the furniture comes in direct contact with sunlight and it dries out. In such conditions, it is important to spray water with a hose.
Upholstered Furniture- Keep the upholstered furniture away from direct rays of sun as most of the fabric tends to fade away very quickly. Vacuum the surface of the furniture to remove dirt and grime. Flip cushions on a regular basis and pillows too, so that both sides wear out in an even fashion.
